Why I cook ?

You know ... life has became so busy and stressfull that it is very dificult to be balanced.  I'm not talking here only for food but for literally everything .
How often do you ask your self ''Are you happy ''? How often do you freak out thinking that you have started to work at 8 am and its 8pm and you're still at work . All of this just because you just got promoted and you want to show that you love your job and you're a hardworker whom would do everything . Then  you end up in hospital and that wakes you up! you start thinking for your life outside of work  . I was constantly  sad ,not being abble to travel as much as I would like to ,not spending time with my husband as much as my heart desired and not visiting my mum more than once a year back in my country . I made my self unwell by thinking that I had nothing to be happy about ,had no free time and had no energy to take care of my family . I had to work full time  and I have to save for my visa ,solicitor ,nhs fees ,rent ,dentist etc. I had no other choice but to cope with all this . Until one day I read a article of how cooking for people you love makes your anger and anxiety goes away so I started ,not only that but keeps your mind bussy and can be a great idea for gift for friends . I'm not a profesional and I don't think I'll ever be but I love watching my finished recipe in a colorful plate ready to be served. So please try cooking something  if you ever feel like me . Watch how creating something delicious can change your humor and make you feel worth trying it everyday.

Cheap frozen fish coated with herbs

All you need is some fish fillets ,in this case i had some cheap fish frozen in my kitchen and i had to find a way of adding some more taste . So i chopped some fresh basil,fresh thyme and rosemary . Then added some garlic paste mixed with olive oil ,salt and covered all fish and set in oven for about 20 min in full temp .  
The result ? Delicious !

Quick soup recipe

What you need is :
A tin of green peas
2 potatoes
2 carrots
2 red onions
one handful of wholegrain brown rice
chicken breast
1 teaspoon vegetable stock
Boil all together and enjoy with some lemon slices !

Coated chicken filets and salad

I usually use the mari gold bullion powder to coat my chicken fillets . Is gluten and yeast free and doesn't contain artificial preservatives or flavoring .
Make the salad preferably before you roast chicken fillets so all ingredients are infused with all herbs and oils you use for dressing . An absolute tasty light diner !!! Enjoy !

Carrot and orange smothie

All you need is a carrot ,an orange ,water and if you have some baobab fruit powder . Mix them all together in a blender and enjoy !

Cucumber,Kale,Baby spinach,Rucola,Banana,Mango,Greek yogurt,Nettle tea,Bee pollen,Cinamoon,Cacao powder,Honey

Slow cooker turkey stew

Ingredients :
Turkey leg
Fresh herbs
Chicken stock
Put them all together in a slow cooker and enjoy ☺

Quinoa salad

Ingredients :
Boiled quinoa
Red beans
Yellow pepper
Hemp seeds
Chia seeds
Sunflower seeds
Pumpkin seeds
Boil the quinoa until ready ,chop all the fresh  ingredients and mix together . Put all the seeds in a fry pan and toss them for 2 min with no oil added and then mix with the rest of salad .
For dressing you can use olive oil ,lemon zest ,vinegar ,salt and cumin .
Is better to leave it for over night so all the flavors are infused together .
